Vono Tablet (Vonoprazan) is a modern acid suppressant medication used for the treatment of acid-related gastrointestinal conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcers, and Helicobacter pylori eradication. As a potassium-competitive acid blocker (P-CAB), Vonoprazan offers a faster and more potent reduction of stomach acid compared to traditional proton pump inhibitors (PPIs). It helps relieve symptoms like heartburn, acid reflux, and stomach irritation while promoting healing of the esophagus and stomach lining.

Before taking vonoprazan, inform your healthcare provider if you have:

A history of liver disease
Osteoporosis or low bone mineral density
Low levels of magnesium in your blood
Any allergies to medications

Erosive Esophagitis: Healing and maintenance of healing for inflammation and damage to the esophagus caused by stomach acid.
Heartburn: Relief from heartburn associated with erosive esophagitis.
Helicobacter pylori Eradication: In combination with antibiotics like amoxicillin and clarithromycin, vonoprazan is used to eliminate H. pylori, a bacterium linked to stomach ulcers.
