Doxolin Tablet belongs to a group of medicines known as 'bronchodilators' that are mainly used to prevent and treat symptoms of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Asthma is a chronic (long-term) respiratory condition in which the airways narrow, swell, and produce excess mucus, resulting in difficulty breathing. COPD is a group of lung diseases with emphysema (difficulty breathing) and chronic bronchitis (inflammation of the lining of the bronchi). Doxolin Tablet contains doxofylline which works by inhibiting phosphodiesterase (PD-4), thereby relaxing the bronchial smooth muscle of the pulmonary airways, thereby helping asthma and COPD patients to breathe easier. Use Doxolin Tablet as prescribed. Your doctor will recommend how often to take Doxolin Tablet based on your medical condition. Most Doxolin Tablet side effects do not require medical attention and gradually go away over time. However, if the aspect results persist or worsen, please search for recommendation out of your doctor.
