Endometriosis is a chronic disease affecting women of childbearing age. It's a condition in which endometrial-like tissue sits outside the uterus, causing chronic inflammation that leads to symptoms of pain, fatigue, and infertility. You should not use any form of hormonal birth control and hormonal contraceptives of any kind. Always take VISANNE precisely as prescribed through your physician. Swallow the medicine entire with masses of water. Do not drive or operate machinery while taking this medicine. You may feel dizzy or light-headed. Before taking this medication, tell your doctor if you have ever had kidney, heart, or pancreatic disease. Pregnant and nursing women should consult their doctor before taking this medicine. This medicine is absolutely not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
