TADALAFIL belongs to a class of drugs called impotence agents mainly used to treat erectile dysfunction (impotence) and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Erectile dysfunction is the inability to keep an erection suitable for sexual activity. Benign prostatic hyperplasia, also known as an enlarged prostate, is a noncancerous growth of the prostate gland. TADALAFIL contains "tadalafil" which works by inhibiting the enzyme phosphodiesterase, which leads to the breakdown of cGMP and causes smooth muscle relaxation and vasodilation (widening) of blood vessels in the penis. Therefore, it helps to treat erectile dysfunction and symptoms of an enlarged prostate. Swallow TADALAFIL whole with a glass of water; do not crush, chew, or break the tablet. You should take TADALAFIL for as long as your doctor prescribes it based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience some common side effects such as headache, back pain, muscle pain, leg and arm pain, stuffy nose, indigestion, and facial flushing. Interactions of Toptada Tablet (Tadalafil)
Drug-Drug Interactions: TADALAFIL may interact with medications for high blood pressure (amlodipine, lisinopril, losartan, metoprolol, riociguat), alpha-blockers (tamsulosin), antifungals (nitroglycerin), antifungals (ketoconazole, itraconazolecin), antibiotics (claricouberthromycin), rifampicin), anticonvulsants (phenobarbital, phenytoin, carbamazepine), anti-HIV drugs (ritonavir).
Food and Drug Interactions: Avoid alcohol, as it can temporarily reduce your ability to get an erection.
Drug-Disease Interactions: TADALAFIL may interact with cardiovascular disease/heart disease, kidney dysfunction (renal failure), lung disease, alcoholism, liver disease, seizure disorders, hearing loss, retinitis pigmentation (loss of vision) and stenosis (prolonged penile erection).
