Introduction of Orcibest Tablet (Orciprenaline)

ORCIPRENALINE belongs to a class of medicines called "bronchodilators" that are used to treat symptoms of breathing problems such as asthma and COPD. It helps prevent symptoms such as wheezing, coughing, or wheezing (wheezing when breathing). Asthma is a chronic (long-term) respiratory condition in which the airways narrow, swell, and produce excess mucus, resulting in difficulty breathing. COPD is a group of lung diseases with emphysema (difficulty breathing) and chronic bronchitis (inflammation of the lining of the bronchi). ORCIPRENALINE contains 'orciprenaline' which works by relaxing the muscles and widening the airways in the lungs. Therefore, it facilitates breathing by opening the airways in patients with asthma and COPD. Take ORCIPRENALINE alone with food and swallow whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew or break it. Your doctor will recommend how often to take ORCIPRENALINE depending on your medical condition. Some people may experience headaches, anxiety, dizziness, heart palpitations, insomnia (difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep), diarrhea, nausea, tremors, or drowsiness. Most of these ORCIPRENALINE side effects do not require medical attention and gradually go away over time. However, if the facet results persist or worsen, please consult your medical doctor. If you are allergic to ORCIPRENALINE or any other medication, please inform your doctor. If your breathing gets worse or you often wake up at night because of your asthma, if you feel tightness in your chest in the morning or if it lasts longer than usual, see your doctor right away as this may be the case. These are signs that your asthma is not adequately controlled and request an alternative or supplemental dose treatment. Regular monitoring of potassium levels is recommended while taking ORCIPRENALINE, as this may cause low blood potassium levels. ORCIPRENALINE is not recommended for children under 6 years of age. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should inform your doctor before using ORCIPRENALINE. Regular chest X-rays or lung function tests should be performed while taking ORCIPRENALINE to monitor the effects of ORCIPRENALINE on the lungs. Do not take ORCIPRENALINE if you have an arrhythmia that causes tachycardia. If you have high blood pressure, diabetes, hypokalemia (low blood potassium), seizures, hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid), or heart problems, tell your doctor before taking ORCIPRENALINE.
