Alpha D3 0.25 (Alfacalcidol)
Alpha D3 0.25 Capsule is used as a supplement to treat deficiency of Vitamin D associated with conditions such as hypocalcemia (decreased blood calcium levels), rickets (weakening of bones), etc. It is also used to treat calcium metabolism disturbances (deficiency and elevation of calcium levels in the bones and/or blood) caused due to diseases of the kidneys and the parathyroid gland.

- Hypocalcemia
This medicine is used to treat a deficiency of calcium in the blood (low blood calcium levels).
- Hypophosphatemic vitamin D-resistant rickets and osteomalacia
This medicine is used to treat rickets and osteomalacia (bone diseases characterized by bone softening and weakening) associated with low levels of phosphate ions in the blood.
- Renal Osteodystrophy
This medicine is used to maintain adequate levels of calcium and phosphates in the blood in patients suffering from kidney diseases or undergoing dialysis.
- Osteomalacia and Rickets
This medicine is used to treat osteomalacia and rickets (bone diseases characterized by bone softening and weakening) associated with malnutrition and malabsorption of vitamin D or calcium in the body.
