Its use is not recommended if you are taking quinacrine or any other combination medicine containing quinacrine (an antimalarial). Patients should avoid becoming pregnant during treatment. You should take this medicine for the full prescribed time even if your symptoms improve or go away. Failure to do so may lead to drug resistance. Women who are sexually active can use effective birth control pills and men should use condoms during and for 3 months after stopping treatment. MALIRID TABLET should be stopped immediately in case of leukopenia (leukopenia).

Drug-Drug Interactions: MALIRID TABLET may interact with pain relievers (aspirin), antibiotics (ciprofloxacin), antimalarial drugs (quinacrine), corticosteroids (dexamethasone), antiepileptic drugs (phenytoin), vitamins (cyanocobalamin, cholecalciferol, riboflavin, thiamin, riboflavin, pyridoxine ascorbic acid).

Food-Drug Interactions: Limit your consumption of grapefruit or grapefruit juice with MALIRID TABLET as it can significantly increase blood levels of this drug.

Drug-Disease Interactions: People with eye disorders (toxins), blood diseases (porphyria), heart disease (arrhythmias), bone marrow failure, seizures, enzyme deficiencies (G-deficiency PD) -6), liver disease (hepatotoxicity), hemolytic anemia should not take MALIRID TABLET without your doctor's advice.
