HALOVATE contains halobetasol propionate, which belongs to a group of medicines called topical corticosteroids. It is indicated for the topical treatment of a number of different skin conditions such as eczema, eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis. Halobetasol is a highly effective corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory and antipruritic properties. Try not to cover the treated region except if taught to do as such by your primary care physician. Do not use this medication on the face, groin, or underarms. This medication should not be used for more than 2 weeks at a time, as it may pose a risk of suppressing the HPA axis.
