Introduction of Votrient Tablet (Pazopanib)

VOTRIENT TABLET belongs to a group of so-called "anti-cancer" drugs mainly indicated for the treatment of kidney and soft tissue cancers. Kidney cancer is also known as kidney cancer. This is a disease in which healthy kidney cells become malignant (cancerous), grow out of control, and form a tumor. When a group of cancers occurs in different parts of the body such as bones, muscles, deep layers of skin, and fat, it is called a soft tissue sarcoma. This type of cancer can also form in the nerves, blood vessels, or connective tissues that support the body's organs. VOTRIENT TABLET contains "Pazopanib" which belongs to a group of medicines called "kinase inhibitors". It works by blocking the action of an abnormal protein that causes cancer cells to multiply. In this way, it prevents the spread of cancer cells. Take VOTRIENT TABLET as prescribed by your doctor. You should take a VOTRIENT TABLET for as long as your doctor prescribes it after checking your condition. In some cases, you may experience some common side effects such as itching or rash, acne, dry skin, vomiting, diarrhea, and loss of appetite. Most of these side effects do no longer require clinical attention and will go away over the years. However, you should talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects long-term. To effectively treat your condition, keep taking VOTRIENT TABLET for as long as your doctor tells you to. Do not take VOTRIENT TABLET if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant because VOTRIENT TABLET causes serious birth defects. Nursing mothers should not take VOTRIENT TABLET because it passes into breast milk and may pose a potential risk to the nursing infant. Elderly people are more sensitive to the drug, so depending on the medical condition, the doctor can adjust the dose. Avoid drinking alcohol with VOTRIENT TABLET as it can cause dizziness.
